Gaule Bermingham & Co, a family-run business, has a rich history that dates back to October 1984. It started its operations on Barrington Street and later moved to 5 Upper Hartstonge Street. In 1993, the firm found its permanent home at 61 O’Connell Street.
The foundation of Gaule Bermingham & Co was laid by the four Gaule Brothers: Finian, Matt, Nigel, and John. They were later joined by Elaine Bermingham.
In April 1988, the firm took over the practice of the late Donogh Wall, who operated under the name John F O’Carroll & Co in Clonmel, Co Tipperary. This expansion allowed Gaule Bermingham & Co to extend its reach and serve a wider client base.
In September 1995, the firm expanded once again by acquiring the offices of the late Niall Barkman, who ran Ian Barkman & Co in Limerick city. This strategic move further strengthened the firm’s presence in Limerick and enhanced its service offerings.

Continuing the tradition of family involvement, William Gaule serves as Tax Consultant. John Kirwan Audit Manager at the Clonmel office and Louise Gaule Audit Senior/Payroll Manager. The office is also joined by Pat Cooney who has been with us since 1990
